Log & Burl Buying

If you have an individual tree, burl, or orchard, that you are planning to remove , please contact us. We may be interested in purchasing the logs, and if local, have the ability to do the removal as well, as we have three licensed timber operators (LTO’s) on staff as well as a D49 tree service addendum to our California Contractors license. However in most instances we will refer you back to a local tree removal company for the removal.

If the tree is of very low value, we may not be able to purchase it, but may be able to at least convert it into lower grade lumber and save it from the landfills, from becoming firewood, or going into a chipper.

We also buy large diameter logs. If you want some of the slabs, we may also mill the log on shares, (split the lumber with you). The % of the split will depend on the value of the log.

In addition to orchards, we are also interested in wild-wood.

We start the process with images which can be Email to us. Once we have the images, someone will get back to you within 3 business day’s if we are interested.

In Regards to the drought/beetle kill pine logs for from the tree mortality project.  We are interested in those as well, but WE DO NOT need pictures of these, instead we need letters of intent to sell them to us.  For more information on exactly what we need, please email us and and we will send you the form of exactly what we are looking for in a letter of intent, and when we would be able to buy these.  If however, you have Pine logs that are over 48″ in diameter we may be interested in them sooner, and if you need a place to take the logs in the meanwhile, you are welcome to bring them to our yard.  If you need to find a local sawyer,to mill your logs into usable product, please click to find a Wood-Mizer owner near you.   These trees do have value and should not be piled and burned or left to rot, but instead converted into usable lumber, we can help.

***Please note***

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF CALLS WE GET ON LOGS, THE CALLS CANNOT ALL BE RETURNED, BUT THE EMAILS WILL, IF ACCOMPANIED BY AN IMAGE AND A DESCRIPTION.
