As we cut out custom lumber and timber orders for our clients we inevitably end up with some overage. This will be odd sizes that didn’t meet the customers needs, or maybe weren’t the grade the customer was looking for, and sometimes we just need to finish cutting the log. Most of these have an aged worn & rustic look that is very poplar in many building projects, or if a “new” look is what you were looking for, we could resaw them and get a fresher appearance.
We also have some old reclaimed timbers that have came out of different demo projects we have done over the years.
Far West is cleaning up and organizing our years of accumulation of timbers. We are working on getting each of them labeled, priced, and on our website. In the meantime you are welcome to stop by or call for specifics. Right now a cursory review of what we have is Oak, Doug Fir, Pine, Redwood, and Deadora Cedar.
Some oak sizes include; 14.5″ X 11.5″ X 15.’4″ & 12″ X 11.5″ X 12′ 8″ long these are California Black Oak and white oak.
Some Doug Fir sizes include; 11.5″ X 3.5″ 25′ long. & 19.5″ wide 30′ long.
Some Deadora Cedar sizes include; 8.75″ X 8.75″ X 15′ long.
Some Pine sizes include; 17″ wide X 4.5″ thick X 30′ long.
Some Redwood sizes include; 12″ X 8″ X 16′ long.
And we are just getting started! Frequently when you are buying timbers, they need to be cut and then dried before you can use them – which we can always do for you. But the advantage to these in stock timbers is that they have been drying for years and are ready for you to use in your next project.
