This olive wood came out of a retired orchard in central California. It has been sanded and kiln dried, there is nothing on the wood, but the color does change based upon the lighting that the piece was in when the image was taken.
There are natural voids and bark inclusions as are typical of olive. The front is pretty solid, but the back has a significant amount of bark as is typical in olive wood.
