This is claro Walnut crotch slab that was taken out and scheduled to be pushed into a pile and burned.

As an orchard tree ages, it stops producing as bountiful of a crop. At this point, the tree is then taken out, and replaced with a younger more fruitful tree. When the trees are taken out they are stereotypically burned, chipped, or turned into firewood. But these trees are full of beauty and we love to give them a second life!
