Chinese Mulberry Board, FW13170

$119.00

This Chinese Mulberry was planted to line the driveway of Mr. Walton of Yuba City pre-WWII.  He was given the trees as payment for picking up additional trees at the dock in San Francisco for Mr. Horst of Yuba City.  Mr. Horst had planted the trees for silk production.  However when war broke out the Chinese Mulberry silk trees were pulled out and replaced with a food crop – Peach trees.     This tree eventually became a hazard and had to be removed.

If you are looking for that one of a kind, “nobody else has it” unique board for your special project -Chinese Mulberry would be it.
